SLD Center Services
Learning Assessment EvaluationAn SLD Center evaluation is recommended for new students. The purpose of assesment and testing is to determine each student's individual learning style and needs. This process consists of three steps:
TutoringWe provide individualized, one-to-one tutoring for people of all ages. Tutoring fees are based on a sliding scale according to income and family size. Charges can be paid in full or a payment schedule can be arranged. Students are scheduled two to three times per week for 45 to 60 minute sessions. Services are provided at the student's school whenever possible. Parents will receive oral communication on a monthly basis and a written evaluation every 50 lessons. Bi-monthly "Parent Connection" newsletters are also sent with Center information and related topical articles.
